Kitchens are often the cleanest, neatest place in a shoot. Not always. And generally everything is neat and clean, but everyone seems to go the distance on their kitchen, probably because we all know that’s where we all wind up hanging out when entertaining.
I’ve heard some people say “Look at how they shoot bedrooms.” Bedrooms are boring. Okay…I’ll post a bedroom later.
So…back to eating. I liked this dining room/eat-in kitchen. Simple, clean lines, great built-ins with lighting.
Geekiness: Ambient and flash, strobes camera left and right, bounced off ceiling.
And now it’s time to post a bedroom picture…because I’m tired. Went to re-shoot this today because, unlike last year, the lake now has water in it. Not enough, but some.
Okay, something other than making or eating food….
This is the family room and kinda the entry. House backs up onto equestrian trails, so there’s a balcony (accessible from the kitchen) and views of trees.
Geekiness: Strobes camera left and right, bounced off ceiling.
Kitchen…now another dining room…maybe I shouldn’t post when hungry. I liked this unassuming dining room. Clean. Neat.
Geek stuff: 10mm cropped to 12, strobes left and right of camera, bounced off ceiling, blended with an ambient shot.
